We are building the thing that should have existed.
Between doing nothing and calling the police, there was nothing good. Holler is the missing middle: something that stops a situation before it becomes an emergency, and brings someone you trust with you.
Why Holler
Street robbery and phone-snatching are rising in the cities where people most want to feel safe, and the people most affected are often the ones with the fewest good options. The phone is already in your hand, and today it does nothing to help in the moment that matters.
We started Holler because every existing option got one big thing wrong. Some track you constantly. Some sell a feed of fear. Some have the right idea but fail exactly when you need them. We wanted one that deters, that is private by default, and that simply works.
We are building it in the open, with the people who need it, in our launch cities first. We will never show a number we cannot stand behind, and we will never claim a feature that is not real.
What we stand for
Deterrence first
The job is to stop the confrontation, not to narrate it afterwards. A loud siren and a bright strobe change a threat's decision.
Reliability is the product
A safety tool that fails when needed is worse than none. The alarm, the recording and the alert are built to work every time, even offline.
Privacy is not negotiable
Location only on an active alert, never sold, EU data residency, GDPR by design. A safety app should not be the thing watching you.
